COMCAST NBC Universal Merger Further Erosion of Middle Class Power

The Obama Administration has made the turn necessary to get re-elected in 2012. Unfortunately that turn is at the expense of the middle class. While I simply hate this in effect the Obama administration may have realized that it is futile to fight alone.
First came the budget compromise that continued to reward the rich at the expense of the middle class. Next came his “Republicanesque” op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that pretty much takes the side of big business’ complaints about too much regulation inasmuch as the lack of regulation almost destroyed our economy and the currently poorly regulated natural gas companies are polluting ground water throughout the country.
I trust that President Obama understands the dynamic and is playing the best hand he has. I just wish the President and the Progressive base was more persuasive to bring America along. That absent the President can just play ball.

Pres. Obama is simply submitting to the powerful corporate interests that he realizes controls the media discourse that controls the unintelligent electorate. Just have to convince the 30% of the population that bothers to engage in the election process, that is overwhelmingly upper middle class, because those are the only ones who's interests are being considered or matter, and you have an election landslide. The poor who are bothering to vote I must disparagingly say are just downright ignorant of their overall best interests, unless you assume they just enjoy being used and poor.
I think whichever way President Obama turns he'll be slaughtered. Conservatives do it because he couldn't make change happen all on his own, and they didn't want to have to actually do anything themselves. The liberals do it because they don't want to acknowledge that their lack of support for him is why he has to compromise.I wouldn't be in his shoes for anything...
